Due to the global pandemic we have had to have many meetings with Tim and each other about where we go next. Over the past few weeks we have been adding things into our blogs to try and help the lectures understand as much as they can about our performance. We have created a detailed script and spoken about new idea that we may have had whilst being stuck at home. This section will show all the new ideas we have had and new stuff we have spoken about and created. Social distance meetings/rehearsals

Meetings with Tim/reflections
Over the these few pandemic weeks we have had a few meetings with Tim to talk about written work and also what is gong to happen with grades ect… Tim has been amazing at giving feedback and helping us with the various sections of our blog. I think Tim has been a good lecturer for us to have on this module because he is a drama practitioner and created various performances so his advice and him treating the performance like a professional company has taught us a lot but also made the process smoother and easier. In the meetings we discussed exactly what they are looking for in the blogs which was very useful as it become difficult at times with being so far away and not having them on campus like usual. Shannon and I have expressed several times that we are finding it hard to get motivated being at home, Tim did put me at ease when he expressed that he was struggling to but we needed to give ourselves deadlines in order to stay on track with our work. He also said that the last time he will look at our blogs before they have to go in would be Monday 11th May, they are due in the 15th which gives us plenty of time to make corrections if need be.
The Annotated Script
Altogether over the weeks, it took Shannon and I four hours long to complete the script and that is without annotation. It doesn’t sound like very long however 17 pages will tell you something different. The script contains any annotations.
Reflection
The overall rehearsal process of ‘can I take your order please?’ has been a blast I feel that we have created a really strong performance. In rehearsals I feel that we have got a lot done and were ahead in our schedule, we have looked at so many practitioners and done a lot of background research to help aid and back up our performance as a whole and I feel that we balanced our time well when it came to being practical, researching and gathering elements to actually create our show. In terms of the outcome of our recorded performance I think considering the time we had and due to the stress of the pandemic I think we did very well we managed to gather enough for the lectures so that they could see a simple version of what we had created/ wanted to create. If feel confident that Shannon and I created a ‘piece for the people’ and we lived up to our expectations. If I could change one thing it would obviously be to actually finish and perform our piece the way we wanted to, other than that I don’t really see a downside to anything we created, to evaluate it, it was thought through, put together well and it achieved the one goal we set from the beginning which was to be different. I had a lot of fun creating this piece it was a great opportunity for me to expand my knowledge and actually get the chance to see what making a performance is like rather than just being an actor and being given the script I now have knowledge in all areas when it comes to theatre and I could not have picked a better partner to work with.

Special thanks…
